JOHOR KETON TIN CASH COIN SS30

image 1: obverse and reverse of the coin
Again my favourite coin of Johor. I personally prefer this ancient coin in term of its design, rather than our current coin. This coin was discovered via sieving method at the Sungai Johor, Kota Tinggi, Johor. Not many tin coins were found in this good condition, most probably due to harsh effects of environment towards tin - which is a reactive metal. At the obverse of this coin was written in Jawi, "Haza al Masruf" -

المصروف هذا which meant "This is petty money" and at the reverse, "Dar al Johora"
الجوهرى دار  which meant "Of the City of Johor". More information here.
